Do you even look at his stats besides the ppg and apg? He's a fucking guard and he shoots a miserable FT%. His FG% is below 40% and he averages around a career 40%. His 3-point FG% is atrociously worse. The guy always had mediocre defense at best and couldn't rebound at all. Now that he's injured, he's much worse.

You can put A.I. on the 2002-2003 Magic and he would be much better than McGrady.

Yeah, he will be the same TMAC....the same egocentric me-my-mine player.... 1 year later if he genuinely goes for the microfracture surgery, and works on his rehab diligently and dedicatedly this time round......and continues to haunt this team for another season.

I had forgotten about Josh tripping Yao in the last game, so good call
there. With this particular one, it was unintentional because Howard had just as much of a risk of hurting his knee, too. If he came to him with a lead pipe like Nancy Kerrigan had taken to her, that would be different.
:-) But Howard's last tripping stunt definitely warrants keeping an eye on that guy in the future.

That was a sweet victory. The players showed a lot of passion especially Ron and AB. When Carl returns from his injury, together with a rejuvenated Von, the team could be very formidable.
When Yao crumbled to the floor after hitting knees with Josh Howard, I said to myself - "not again"! Although this collision seemed to be accidental, one could not forget the delibrate tripping Josh did to Yao a few games back. That tripping led me to believe this guy had something vicious in mind - an intend to injure. The refs should keep a watchful eyes in future games between these two teams.

Magic Johnson said it a couple of seasons ago and I agree with him...T-Mac and Yao do not play well together at all. They don't complement each other. You have to let one of them go and I'm glad is T-Mac. The problem with T-Mac is that he has superstar abilities but he plays with ZERO PASSION. And on top of that he has been injury prone in the last few years. T-Mac is not mentally tough which is his weakness...And Alston wasn't the right PG for the Rockets anyway.

McGrady will be T-Mac once again, mark my words. Why doesn't anyone realize his poor play is due to his injury, people just keep ripping him up worse than Marbury? But I'll leave it at that if everyone else will... don't want to spoil a great victory for the Rockets last night. I am sold on Kyle and Brooks now for the PGs though, just hope Brooks feels more comfortable and not be as nervous as he was last night.
