John, I agree with your response to Hobo. However, what I am seeing is a rhythm and speed from the team that I have never seen prior to Yao's foot injury. I suppose only time can tell if this style is truly sustainable. I'm hoping that Yao can improve his high post game (a la Divac) to take advantage of this great style of play that the rockets have been executing the last 4 games...

Great to see this--but have to ask--are the Rockets gelling better together with team play now that Yao is out??? I haven't seen as much critique of Rafer's play since Yao has been out. Just a question.

The Rockets were playing at a high level as a team before Yao's injury, including Rafer, when they had won 12 in a row. -- John

GO ROCKETS! I can barely believe it. They just keep on winning and playing with team effort. I checked the box score and everyone got minutes yesterday! Its so amazing and I hope that they can just bring that belief into the NO game!!

The team just brings so much energy to every game. Its amazing because this was a back to back game as well (am I right?). It has to do with teammates just trusting in each other and believing that if they give it their best effort, the player subbing for him will also give it his best and thats what keeps the team going. 110% effort all game long!

Wow, this Rockets team really earned the heart of fans through their incredible team basketball and their newly-found belief. 17-0 is truly something. I think they also scared those TNT and ESPN analysts and announcers who stubbornly refused to give respect to Rockets. Did you notice that their voices got excited whenever Mavericks made a basket? When they reported Rockets’ double-digit lead every time, it sounded like Rockets were down by double digits. Very funny! Those analysts are still in a state of denial, as those Yao haters did a long time ago.

Go Rockets! I am so proud of you!!

I didn't think I'd find myself following the Rox much, since Yao went down. But what a compelling story still. Although I'm an NYCer I've become a diehard Rox fan over the last few yrs.

John, everytime I read a line with `game 7 2005 or 2007' on it, I still feel sick in my stomach. But following this Rockets becomes so unreal right now, I love it.

Can´t wait for the NOLA game and the Lakers games.

And finally we got some recognition on national Media... although still sceptical ones, but so be it.

Just wonder - any updates about the traditional treatment Yao is getting? I read about that on ESPN, and watched it on CNN.

ANd how will we match up with the Spurs without Yao?

Wendy, I think Yao is just resting now. No treatment yet other than taking post-surgery drugs. I think the Rockets will match up well with the Spurs without Yao. Maybe the better question to ask is, "do the Spurs match up with Scola and Landry and everyone else playing at a high level?" ;-) -- John
