Poor Idleman. He has to live on the left-overs of JVG. I do not believe that a great coach cannot teach his players how to score.

Beating a young team like the Memphis in a close game is not something to be celebrated.

I still think that this is a good team with a bad coach. What can the fans do?

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Rafer Alston and T-Mac are overrated. Battier and Scola are great players. If we had a guy like Deron Williams and Yao stayed healthy, we would easily be a championship team.

What's going on, I posted three times and nothing's shown. I only said this game showed a lot of the same old problems of the Rockets, Alston and T-mac shooting too many jumper bricks. How come my comments have disappeared? If there's something wrong with them, at least e-mail me.

Thought it's only one game, I am already starting to doubt if Rick Adelman will be true to his words that he would carefully manage Yao's minutes.

Darrell Arthur = mensch. I think he actually was the best player on his team. Rockets did great on Gay and especially Mayo. But, yeah, this team needs either Brooks or Battier back for some bench offense. That, or get Brent Barry more open looks.

That was a great start of the season for the Rockets. But as John stated, the game was closer than the score indicates. I will keep my fingers crossed for the health of our big 3 - it they stay healthy, I think we'd stand a good chance.

Ugly game. The Rockets still have a lot kinks to work out. They are in a tough conference and, to have a slow start would be costly. They need a better seeding in order to have any chance of advancing deep into playoffs.

I was impressed by Marc Gasol. He did a god job pushing Yao out of the box, forcing him taking some low percentage hooks. Yao will improve as the season goes.

2nd unit ofense was non-existent, the so-called motion offense a li'l bit stalled, especially once the ball reached tracy :p.
Well, one done, 81 games + playoffs to go!
