Rockets appear to be in a predicament: Either win out both games to claim #2 seed and meet Jazz in the first round, or, lose one of the 2 to be 4 or 5 seed and clash with Lakers in the 2nd round. Here is why?

Right now---> at season end
NO 49-31 ---> 50-32
DAL 48-32 ---> 50-32 or 49-33
UTH 47-33 ---> 49-33 (owns tiebreak vs Dallas and NO)

Jazz is likely to win both games at LA with the Lakers resting up its regular season finale. So they will be 7th.

Hou will beat NO at home; then predicament: if beat DAL, then meet UTH; if lose to DAL, then lose home-court adv and meet Lakers in the 2nd round.
