Staying with the Rockets will not get him a ring. If Yao wants to win a Championship, joining Lebron James is his best bet. It is also a great move for Cleveland as they desperately need a big man to counter Howard. Many Chinese believe that the  Chinese investors who recently gained 15% ownership of the Cavaliers will maneuver to pull Yao to Cleveland and make the Lebron and Yao show the biggest moneymaker in the NBA.
