To put it in perspective, there are some migrant workers, who are some of the poorest people in China, have donated a whole month of salary.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I know that it is his money and he can do what he wants with it.  This justifies my view that some of the richest people are the most stingiest people.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Please check your facts about Yao's salary.  He didn't make $55 million "last year."  That's spread out over several years.
